One of the funniest comedians I've ever seen. It takes a lot to surprise laughter out of me & he kept doing that from beginning to end. Never a dull moment. He's very insightful, intelligent, a deep thinker--those are always the best comedians, Carlin was great because he could point out the ridiculousness of everyday things or beliefs & make us laugh at ourselves, and Sparks is definitely of the same caliber. Obviously this is adult humor, anyone with cursing or adult comedy issues should stick to the church-approved comedians, rather than watch just to complain later as if you didn't know it would happen; though Sparks did not use cursing casually, he was judicious like a spice in a meal, to add flavor & depth. The laughs come without any warning, you expect funny but the ones that grab you & MAKE you laugh are unexpected, those are the best kind. Definitely worth renting, buying, watching & can't wait to see more by him.
